Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Expert in data cleaning/ wrangling is essential to handling unstructured data and integrating data from different sources.
This role requires drawing insightful inferences with data from different sources and explaining them in a relevant business context.
Analyse large disparate volumes of data using SQL and Power Bi to build contextual visualizations and actionable insights.
Focus on identifying trends, patterns, and key drivers within the data to support decision-making processes.
Business Modelling and identifying patterns in the data:
Design and implement business performance models to help achieve strategic objectives.
Design, implement and collate performance data to determine the effectiveness of strategies based on the business performance models.
Data visualization and storytelling:
Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights across various business functions.
Data Quality Management:
Implement data quality standards and procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address data quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborates with various teams such as product managers, developers, and financial experts to implement data-driven solutions and optimize performance.
Skills and Tools:
Skilled in programming languages like SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and statistical modelling.
Havea solid experience of data cleaning, data modelling, and data visualization techniques to derive insights from complex datasets.
Power BI development, dashboarding, data source management/maintenance and model design.
Utilizing Snowflake, building and maintain Snowflake Views and implement corresponding dataflows.
Utilizing Denodo – includes creating and managing Data Virtualization Views, metadata management, data services and data catalogues.
Documentation:
Ensure data processes, policies, and best practices are documented and stored in a central repository that is visible to the organisation.
Experience:
- in Asset Management or Investment Platform business.
- years of working experience in a Data Analytics environment with at least 5 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Specialist.
- least 5 years’ experience using Power Bi.
