Recruiting three business Analysts to be responsible for:
1. Instrument Definition workstream – market data set up and clean up:
- Identification and understanding of integrations between systems for static data.
- Static data knowledge of bonds reference data would be preferable.
- Assessing data quality and exception manage for data quality issues.
- understanding of implementation of controls to manage data quality in a reference data repository (GS)
- Analysis of MDR of a post trade trading platform to assess data field requirements.
- Drafting of requirements of the post trade system regarding data needs from the golden source for reference data
- Been able to understand the flows of data between multiple systems and include those impacts , requirements in the BRS at a end to end level
- Ability to facilitate testing of the solution.
- Clean up of existing reference data in the post trade system.
- Post trade trading platform experience would be advantageous.
- Any other initiatives linked to the Bonds Operating Model as defined through the contract period.
2. Euroclear bond set up in Murex + Straight Through Processing of Futures from the JSE into Murex. Euroclear initiative requires coordination of delivery & requirements, assessing solution build from Vendor, coordinating testing and defect management, assistance with documenting solution adoption approaches and training material etc. across:
- Security flows report
- Coupon Netting
- Coupon adjustment(booking , an interlink to the above but involves removing manual adjustment done by trader and putting this flow in a work flow ops can manage)
- Bond Conversions
- Global Inventory View
- Any other initiatives linked to the Bonds Operating Model as defined through the contract period.
STP of JSE Futures includes:
- Analysis of requirements and production of the BRS
- Vendor engagements
- Assessing solution build
- Coordinating testing and defect management
- Assistance with documenting solution adoption approach and training material
3.Fund Allocation automation – documenting requirements (BRS) for integration of the Xceptor tool solution into the infrastructure in order to facilitate the automation of fund allocations on bonds. Initiative requires assistance with coordination of delivery and requirements with the vendor, assessing solution build from vendor/s, coordinating testing and defect management, assistance with documenting solution adoption approaches and training material, etc.
Non negotiable skills:
- 10 years + Business Analyst experience
- 5 years investment banking experience in implementing Business Technology solutions
- Bonds product end to end lifecycle experience

- Analyse and model data and data requirements where applicable. Document business/functional requirements.
- Conduct a gap analysis to identify the most feasible solution to meet requirements.
- Work with business stakeholders to define metrics/performance goals and acceptance criteria for solution and ensure the implementation of the requirements
Solution / project delivery
- Translate business needs into detailed business information and data requirements functional integration and process specifications.
- Clarify the business requirements technical solutions and functional or process specifications for relevant stakeholders.
