Ops Specialist: Wayleaves IT ~ GENERAL

Responsible for the efficient management of all wayleaves to both internal and external clients including the arrangement of payments thereby ensuring the timeous execution of planned projects. Ensure that the end-to-end process flow is optimized to facilitate value for all business stakeholders. Compile specifications, work instructions and work processes.

Our Client is known for providing innovative solutions. to the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector, seeks the expertise of an Ops Specialist.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering field (NQF 7)
- 3 years experience in an ICT and in a civil engineering environment.
- Registration with ECSA as a Professional Civil Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Civil Engineering activities.
- Perform all processes relating to incoming and outgoing wayleaves
- Provide final Construction Completion Certificate
- Perform quality acceptance and monitor on a Zone basis.
- Perform contract management and Zone operations coordination functions.
- Register projects on Municipal web site/s and apply /submit the wayleave/s
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budget, expenditure
- Register projects on Municipal web site/s and apply /submit the wayleave/s
- Perform Service inquiries on the municipal website • Receive and follow up on all affected / non-affected services from all utilities.
- Determine cross-cut requirements and compile cross-cut drawings, obtain approval and supervise crosscuts and site rehabilitation.
